FERRARI is a division of the Italian BCS Group, headquartered in Abbiategrasso (Milan), specialising in the design and production of tractors, power tillers, and motor mowers.The history of Officine Meccaniche Ferrari S.p.A., founded in Luzzara (Reggio Emilia), began in post-war Italy and is closely linked to the development and mechanisation of agriculture during the 1950s.Following an initial phase dedicated to manufacturing equipment for the production of irrigation pipes, FERRARI unveiled its first agricultural machine, the MC 57 power tiller, at the 1957 Verona Trade Fair.The MC 57 was an immediate success and, with several updates, remained in production until 1965, when FERRARI introduced its first articulated compact tractor, the MT 65.Even during those years, FERRARI was recognised as a highly technological company. Throughout the 1970s, its product range expanded to include motor mowers, transporters, and agricultural transport vehicles designed to carry goods across challenging terrain.In 1988, FERRARI joined the BCS Group as an already well-established company.
